For all blessings, let’s thank our Lord
Let’s change our ways of living
For the New Year let’s please God.

Thank you Lord for the breath that you give
Thank you Lord for the lives that we live

Thank you Lord for the food that we eat
Thank you Lord for the shoes on our feet

Thank you Lord for the roof o’er our head
Thank you Lord for our lovely warm bed

Thank you Lord for this year going past
Thank you Lord for your love that will last

Thank you Lord for the hurdles and trials
Thank you Lord, we were never in denial

Thank you Lord for the strength and power
Thank you Lord for holding us in a difficult hour

Thank you Lord for your mercy and love
Thank you Abba Father Our God up above.

Thank you Lord for the blessings that overflow
We plead for your mercy as we stand at the door

The year TWENTY EIGHTEEN is about to begin
Bless us dear Lord so we avoid every sin

Keep your eye on us, wherever we go
Let your light shine on us daily more and more.
